>> First Option Visa® Credit Card Review |
|
The First Option Visa(r) card is a unique one on the market because it's going to enable you to gain interest on your deposits when you let the bank hold it. On top of that, the deposits are FDIC insured, which is great since you'll be protected no matter what happens to the bank.
Credit Check
The First Option card doesn't do a credit check at all. In fact, they won't do a credit check or look at your income. As long as you can load your card with a deposit, you'll be able to apply for the card.
Credit Limit
The most you're going to get with the card is a maximum limit of $5,000. As you show your responsibility with the card, you can then graduate to another credit card that is outside of the secured card market.
Credit Reporting
The First Option card does report to the major bureaus which is great for those that are looking to re-build their credit score.
Annual Fee
Like most secured cards on the market today, you're going to find that this card has an annual fee as well that compares with most of the cards on the market today. The First Option card has an annual fee of $59.
