Easiest Way to Save on Electricity Bill
posted by FindSecuredCards.comI love saving money, and you should to, even if you’re not in debt. A while back, I wrote about how you can save on your electricity bill, but I wanted to touch on this subject again, but this time, I’ll give you even more tips on how to cut your bills down.
Just simply remind yourself – Every time a light is turned on, you’re burning money. Even if it’s pennies, it’s going to add up over time. Make it a habit to turn off those ceiling fans, and the lights. By doing this, you’ll be able to save a few bucks alone each, and every month.
Turn off the computer at night - Some say that it’s great to leave the computer on all the time, but you’re burning a lot of electricity in the process. Get in the habit of turning it off at night, and booting it up in the morning. It doesn’t take a long time to get it up, and running. I did this, and was able to save an additional $5-$10 a month.
Make your own energy - Did you know that there are thousands of people out there that are making their own energy? From solar powered, to other options, you can create your own, and stick it to the companies. Try a great e-book that I’ve read call Electricity – Make It, Don’t Buy It.
Consider energy star appliances - There are a lot of great energy star products out there, and if you take the time to invest into some of these things such as a washer, dryer, and other things as well, you can save hundreds over the term of the purchase, making it a wise choice in the long haul.
This is definitely a start that you can take, and yes there are other possible ways to save, but I consider these to be the best in the market right now. For more tips, I also highly consider this How to Reduce ebook that can save you up to 65%!
