Beat Credit Card Debt – The Simple Steps
posted by FindSecuredCards.comI probably sound like a broken record when I talk about beating credit card debt but it’s not a hard thing to do at all. I was brainstorming some ideas and came up with the idea of just creating a simple chart that will give you the points you need in simple terms. Instead, of writing out a 600 word post, I thought I would just get straight to the point to help you get out of debt.
KNOW you’re in debt
Right now, I want you to sit back and realize that you’re in debt. Face the hard facts that it’s your fault and no one else’s. Once you realize you can’t manage your finances properly, admit that you need to change.
LEARN on your own
There are so many ways to fight debt out there. It’s your job to educate yourself on how you can get yourself out of debt. Whether it’s on this blog or via other sources, get your butt into gear and educate yourself until you know where you’re doing.
TAKE action now
The main reason people stay in debt is because they keep dreaming. Don’t be this type of person where you’re just going to sit there and think you’ll get out of debt by sitting on the couch. Get up, make money and take action. This is probably the hardest part of the system right here.
HOW did you get into debt
Take a look at your debt and see how you got into it. Did you spend a lot at the mall? Is it college loans? Is a little bit of everything? Whatever it is, stop doing it! It’s that simple.
GET your plan into gear
Getting out of debt is hard when you don’t have a plan but if you have a plan, it’s going to be a lot easier. Write down all of your debts and write down how you’re going to get out of debt. Write down how much you make per month and how much you’re going to set aside for your debt attack.
WORK now and hard
If you have one job now, get another two. Debt is easy to attack when you have more than one job. The more jobs you have, the quicker you get out of it. No job is beneath you, so if that means you need to get a job delivering pizzas, do it!
LEARN your lessons
When you reach that plateau where you’re out of debt, look back and see how you got out of it. Learn from your lessons and never get into it again. Even if you have to use cash the rest of your life, do it!
