Whether you’re in debt or you’re loaded with money, no one can turn away from things that are free.  Free things always come in handy when you’re tight on cash every month.  Instead of going out and purchasing these items, you can find websites that are willing to send you everything from free samples to free magazine subscriptions.  I’m going to show you a few websites you can check out where you can find free stuff online.

FatWallet.com Free Forums- Once of my absolute favorite websites to go to on the Internet is FatWallet.com.  Here, you’re not only going to find free things but you’re also going to find hot deals, forums where you discuss just about anything and the best feature is the cash back feature, where you can get cash back on purchases from major retailers.  The forum here is updated daily with tons of new products you can test and sample for free.  Usually, the bigger the green bar is on the left, the better the freebie is going to be.

SlickDeals.net Free Forum – Another great forum that I like is a lot like FatWallet.   Sometimes you can find some unique deals here.  This website isn’t as complex as FatWallet but you will be able to find free things on a daily basis such as magazines, product samples, etc.  Be sure to check out the user feedback to see how good of a deal it truly is.  You’ll usually get a good idea if it’s a good deal or not just based on the feedback.

FreeStuff.com – FreeStuff.com isn’t as good as the forums but you can find some pretty good things on this website if you search deep enough.  The thing about free things you have to remember is that you’re going to have to act fast because some of the really good offers do end pretty fast.

TheFreeSite.com – If you’re looking for more than just free samples in your mailbox, you may want to check out the free site.  This site will allow you find things like free fonts for your computer, free software, and so much more.  Why go out and pay top dollar for items when you can get them for free?

Free things are always great and the web is filled with websites like this.  I obviously picked out my favorites and decided to share them with you.  If you want to get the free samples in your mailbox, I highly recommend you act fast.  Don’t wait for a few days and then do it, you may not get it.

Times can be tough when you’re head over heels in debt and when you’re looking to get that extra cash, there are some places you can dip into that you may have never thought of before.  Even though these tips should be your last resort, if you need the money for emergencies, by no means, try and get the money you need to pay off those bills.

Sell off your investments – As I already mentioned above, you will want this to be your last resort since your investments have been sitting in your account for quite some time now.  If you have to sell your investments, I would advise you do this instead of getting a high interest rate loan.  If you can, try and sell the losers so that you can get a tax break at the end of the year.

Try your home equity- If you own a home, you may want to apply for a home-equity line of credit.  If you’re approved for a line of credit, you’ll want to use this as a loan as it will be more convient you for you.  Keep in mind that you usually need a pretty decent credit score in today’s credit world to get a nice amount to tap into.

Try a credit card check – If you’re already in a lot of debt, you may find it hard for the credit card companies to lend to you.  But if you’re just looking for cash fast, you may want to try those blank checks that the credit card companies send you.  Make sure that you read the fine print when cashing these because you may find down the road that if you miss one payment, it can be very costly for you.

Borrow from family and friends – If you know of friends or family willing to lend to you, this is by far the best way to go.  Work out a deal where you’ll give them everything back plus some.  If need be, get a contract so that they can trust you in paying them back.  Tell them your situation on why you need the money and how you will pay them back.

Sell your stuff – Maybe one of the most easiest ways to get some money in your pocket is simply by hitting the attics and closets and start selling your stuff.  With sites like Ebay, it’s not hard to get what you want for the item you’re selling.  Who knows?  A closet full of stuff can easily be worth one thousand dollars easily.

Getting cash fast isn’t a hard task.  You’re not going to get it within 5 minutes with some of these tips but hopefully, it gives you a good idea on how you can get some money.  Even if you don’t need the money it never hurts to have that emergency fund you can tap into.

Having bad credit for some can be really frustrating.  This limits you from getting loans for things you really need in life like a car and home.  No matter what kind of credit score you have, there are always ways to get the loan you want.  The interest rate may not be appealing but this is what you get for having a bad score.  You should be grateful you’ll have a loan even considered for you.

I’ll show you some tips you can use to get a loan even if you have the worst score on the planet.  It will take you more time than the average person to find a loan but if you’re desperate for that loan, you’ll find the time invested worth it.

Try loan comparison websites – There are many websites out there that will help you with your loan needs.  Services like this will help you browse for the loan you want.  Some will even allow you to let the lenders call you and compete with other lenders.  If you use the comparison route, you’ll know if your credit is good enough if you get phone calls.  It’s always important to consider all offers because there may be only one offer on the table.

Consider a co-signer – If you can find a co-signer that will trust you, I highly advise this route.  Not only will it increase your chances greatly, you’ll be able to get a better rate.  The downfall of a co-signer is that you’re not going to be able to find many because if you have a shady past, do you think they are going to trust you with this payment?  You have to show your trust.

Look for government assistance – With so many government programs out there, it’s not hard to find out that my help you.  If you’re a first time home buyer for example, you may be able to find a grant that helps you with your purchase, etc.  Do some research online and you’ll be surprised at what kind of loans you can get directly through the government.

Try a site like ProsperProsper.com, if you haven’t heard of it yet is a peer to peer finance network where people like you and me will help others with loans.  It’s a great site if you’re not looking to deal with banks.  You will usually get a rate based on your credit score, etc.

These are just a few ways you can get a loan even though you have bad credit.  If you don’t necessarily need this loan, try and avoid and focus on the things that are important like building your credit back up.  If you can do this, your credit score will rise and you’ll see nice rates sooner than you think.

Sometimes fighting debt on your own can be tough and when you there’s no light at the end of the tunnel, most just want to give up and take the easy road called the Bankruptcy Avenue.  Since there’s no real easy way out in life, it’s important to realize that there are many other options to fight debt instead of doing it on your own.  Other ways to fight debt are simply to find a professional that can do most of the dirty work for you.

Before you leave the house or start calling up companies, there are a few things you should ask yourself before you hire that debt consultant.  These are a few questions I want you to ask yourself just to make sure you’re ready to take the leap to hiring a professional.

Have you done everything in your own power to fight debt?
When I talk about this, I want to know if you’ve done as much research as possible when fighting debt.  WIth the Internet in today’s world, it’s so easy to find all the resources you need to fight hte debt you have.  If you’re being lazy, don’t use the professional as an excuse to get out of debt.  Instead, read books, visit message boards and fight the debt yourself.  It’s not that hard at all.

What are you doing right now to fight it?
Look at your situation right now.  What are you doing to fight the debt?  Are you getting extra jobs?  or are you just waiting for the money to fall from the sky?  If you’re not doing anything to bring in extra money, the professional is going to tell you this.  Save yourself some money and start earning that extra money.  Get 3 jobs, work 24/7 and hit the debt until your body hurts.   Once the debt is gone, you’ll feel like a whole new person.

Can you afford a professional?
Depending on what company you hire, you may find that they vary in prices and fees.  Sure, they can save you money on your debt but some companies may be doing more harm than good.  If you do decide to hire a professional, please make sure you do your research before you hire one.  Always make sure you check out the fees on what they charge, so that you know what they are going to charge you.

Is this your last resort?
This should be your last resort when it comes to fighting debt besides bankruptcy.  A professional can help you if you find the right one but as I mentioned above, there are so many resources out there that can help  you with your debt fighting.  If you can learn on your own, I highly recommend you do so to save yourself the time and money.

I’m not against a professional.  In fact, if you research the professionals, you can save some money but again, it all depends on who you hire.  Make sure you just don’t get a professional to save money.  Instead, do your research, get an extra job and fight your debt like it’s depending on your life.  If you have this mindset, you can really take your debt fighting skills a long way.

With college, comes debt.  If you’re one of the few who were able to pay off your loans while going to school, good for you!  If you weren’t one of the few that were able to do this, you’re going to to have to site down and figure out how you’re going to pay off your student loans.  While paying off your loans isn’t going to be hard, it’s just going to take time and action on your part.

Figure out a plan – Once you graduate, you’re going to want to sit down and figure out exactly how you want to pay off your loans.  Set up a time frame to figure out when you can successfully pay it off.  Once you know how much you’ll be making every month, it will be considerably easier.

Start saving up your money – Just because you’re out of college and you have a good job doesn’t mean you should go out and spend it all.  Your first goal when you graduate is to attack your debts.  Once you’re debt free, then you can go spend as you please but it’s always best to save for retirement as well.  If you need to, open up a savings account so that you can collect more interest on your money.

Get another job – Depending on how serious you’re about your debt, you may want to consider getting another job just so you can have those debts disappear.  If you’re already working 9-5, consider getting a part time job at the grocery store or delivering pizzas.  Remember, you’ll only have to do it until you pay off your debts.

Work at your college – Some colleges allow your work in exchange for paying off your college tuition.  Check with your admissions office to see if they have a program that’s like this.  If you can do it, take full advantage of it.   Usually, you’ll be able to tutor other kids in exchange for a reduced tuition plan.

Apply for grants or scholarships – If you’re still in college, it’s not too late to apply for a grant or scholarship.  Check websites like FastWeb for free scholarship searches.  You’ll be amazed at whats out there and what can help you with your schooling.  It never hurts to look!

Paying off your student loan debts isn’t that hard.  If you’re out of school, simply get more money and attack them like there’s no tomorrow.  You’ll be surprised at how far that goes.  Work hard and in the end, it’ll all pay off, I promise you that much.
